20 Year Anniversary of Round-the-Clock Yajnya at Tapovan

Bruce Johnson
Tapovan, India

Yajnya Shala at Tapovan, site of 20 years of continuous Om Tryambakam Homa.

(March 25, 2021 marked the 20th anniversary of the continuous Om Tryambakam Yajnya at Tapovan Homa Farm in India. This incredible achievement is of incalculable service to the whole planet.  Especially in the last few years the Tapovan team faced many setbacks. However, in spite of the challenges, with the hard work and devotion of the Tapovan team, this Sacred Fire has been kept alive all these years.

We pray for Love, Light and blessings to  all who have served in this amazing work, and for the future maintenance of this special Homa.

The following is Bruce Johnson’s speech on this momentous occasion.–Ed.)

Om Tryambakam Homa in the Yajnya Shala.
In the Yajnya Shala.

Today we celebrate the completion of 20 years of continuous 24 hour round-the-clock Om Tryambakam Yajnya. It is a great achievement. As far as we know it is the only one of its kind on the planet today. In several countries we have seen this type of continuous Yajnya over the last 30 or 40 years in USA, Germany, Chile, and Australia. In the USA on the farm where Shree Vasant stayed for many years on the outskirts of Baltimore, they maintained continuous Yajnya for 16 years. But this is the longest running Yajnya of its kind that any group of people have managed to do till now. First, I would like to thank everyone who has participated over the years in keeping the Fire alive. The blessings which come from participating in such a work are phenomenal. So it is congratulations to all of us who have helped to maintain this Fire for so many years.

Now we are living in a very special time. This is the time of the change of age. The change of age is a very rare occurrence and during this transition period another Great One has come to help us through this change from Kali Yuga to Satya Yuga. In western terms it may be expressed something like from the Dark Age to the Golden Age of Light. The Great One Who has come is known in India as Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj of Akkalkot and universally as ‘Shree.’ He is also known as the Kalki Avatar and also as the Son of Man. He took birth on May 17th 1918, stayed many years in Akkalkot in the south of our state, Maharashtra. He wrote no books. He wrote a few letters to close people wherein He described His work. He never left India. And in the year 1944 He took the supreme vow at the feet of His Master, Lord Parshuram, the eternal Avatar, ‘I WILL RESUSCITATE THE VEDAS.’ Some time later He blessed the planet with the knowledge of Agnihotra, the small Ayurvedic copper pyramid healing Fire, which we also practice here.

In 1958 the Great Disciple of Parama Sadguru Shree arrived in Akkalkot for the first darshan of His Master. That Great Dsiciple was Shree Vasant Paranjpe and He was destined to do a stupendous work covering all the continents of the world. In 1972 He received the command from His Master, ‘Carry My blissful words to all the people of the world.’ This meant the message of Agnihotra and the Fivefold Path.  Soon after that Shree Vasant left India to travel to the USA to begin this mission.

Fivefold Path is nothing new. It is the same set of guidelines for happy life which have been handed down for thousands of years and of which all the Great Ones remind us.
1 Yajnya
2 Daan
3 Tapa
4 Karma
5 Swadhyaya

All Great Ones Who grace us with Their presence give this same message, but They stress different aspects of the message according to the times in which they take birth. In this particular time stress is laid more on Yajnya, and for the common man this means Agnihotra.

Shree Vasant started His mission in the US. Soon after that He started visiting countries in Europe and South America. So many countries He visited over a period of 35 years, traveling the world spreading Parama Sadguru Shree’s message of Agnihotra and the Fivefold Path.

He also visited Australia. In fact, He came to stay in my house in Sydney. My wife, Anne, and I had started Agnihotra only a few months before His first visit in April 1988. On the second day of His visit He called us all together (there was just a small group of people in those days who were interested in Agnihotra) for an introductory talk. He said, “Now, here in Australia we need three things. (I assume this was the same talk which He gave in every country He visited.)

  1. A not-for-profit NGO which can do the legal work of interacting with government authorities.
  2. A Homa farm (Tapovan is also a Homa farm, but in 1988 this was a very new concept).
  3. 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Om Tryambakam Yajnya.

Soon after starting the practice of Agnihotra, Anne and I were taught Om Tryambakam Yajnya by our friend Jarek Bizberg who also taught us Agnihotra.  We used to practice it with Jarek and a few other dedicated people for one complete 24 hour cycle twice a month on new moon and full moon days.

But what Shree Vasant was suggesting was much more. This was not just twice a month on new moon and full moon days. This was every single day of each and every month, night and day, without stopping. Anne and I had never heard of such a thing. This was an unbelievable thing to say, that this is what we need to do now in Australia.

After Shree Vasant had finished talking, Anne approached Him and said simply, “I will do it.” (More details of how she arrived at this earth-shattering decision are contained in her new book, soon to be released).

Then she was faced with the difficult job of convincing me that this was a perfectly reasonable and sane decision and that it was entirely achievable. I was a hard nut to crack, with so many doubts, apprehensions and objections, but Anne is very persuasive and eventually I came around to her view that we could do this.

And so it came to pass that in a short period of time after this life-changing meeting with Shree Vasant, we did establish a not-for-profit organization, we did purchase a farm where we could practice the principles of Homa farming and, with the help of a few like-minded people, we did start 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Om Tryambakam Yajnya which continued in Sydney for more than one year.

Just prior to starting the round-the-clock Yajnya in 1989, Shree Vasant made his third visit to our house in Sydney. At the end of that visit He told us, ‘Now my work in Australia is finished. I will not return here.’ So after that, in order to take Shree Vasant’s darshan. we had to come to India.

On one particular visit to India in 1993, on the occasion of the crowning ceremony of the newly constructed Shivadham temple, Shree Vasant insisted that Anne and I needed to get married. (At that point of time we were still unmarried, despite having been together for some 17 years). And so we were married that same day in the presence of Shree Vasant in a simple Vedic ceremony.

On another visit to India in 1995, Shree Vasant suggested to Anne and me that we could be caretakers of the newly established Tapovan, which was intended as the guest house for westerners who wished to visit the Shivadham temple. We could continue our work of disseminating information about Agnihotra here in India, and be responsible for ensuring that Agnihotra and other Homas were maintained here in Tapovan.  Anne and I discussed Shree Vasant’s offer briefly and we both agreed that we would do it.

And so in 1997 I came here to Tapovan on a longer term visa to begin a semi-permanent stay. Anne stayed in Australia operating our small business and after 3 years she had restructured the business in such a way that she could also leave Australia and come to India. At the end of 2000 Anne joined me here on a semi-permanent basis. Almost immediately upon her arrival Anne started talking about the possibility of starting a 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Om Tryambakam Yajnya here in Tapovan. Again I was very surprised, reluctant, and doubtful about whether it was possible. Shree Vasant once said, ‘Do you know how many people are required to maintain 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Yajnya?’ 10, 20, 30, maybe 40? He said, ‘No. For round-the-clock continuous Yajnya you need only one person, one person who has absolute faith and belief that this can happen and will happen.’ In our case we do have such a person, my lovely wife, Anne. She has unfailing faith that if the Guru asks us to do such a thing, then surely He will give us the strength and courage to make it happen. And so, just a few months after Anne joined me here in Tapovan, we started this 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Yajnya on March 25th, 2001.

Fortunately, Abhay Paranjpe immediately offered to take care of the ghee which would be needed to maintain this Yajnya. It is difficult to overstate the importance of this. Without his generous support over all these years, we could not have continued with this Yajnya. 365 days a year, for 20 years, 1kg every day. You can do the math. I honour Abhay for that. One more person I have to mention is Sanjay Patil, our Tapovan Manager who has done the difficult work of coordinating the people for the Yajnya over the whole 20 year period.

Now, I would like to ask just one question. Why? Why do we do this? Why did Shree Vasant emphasize so much this idea of 24 hour round-the-clock continuous Yajnya in so many countries? Throughout the years, Shree Vasant has occasionally written something about the continuous Yajnya which has been recorded in the Satsang journal.

First, there is something about the importance of Tapovan. In 1993 Shree Vasant wrote:

‘While in the physical body Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj, Kalki Avatar once visited Ratnapimpri, the place where Shivadham and Tapovan are located. He removed the green shawl He was wearing and put it on the body of one poor devotee from a shepherd family called Vanaraj, embraced him and said, “Look what is in front of you. All this land is a great land of TAPA (penance). Several great seers have done penance here. From this place the greatest work will be done in future.”

‘After leaving the body, a few years passed, then the Avatar appeared before Vanaraj in a vision and said, “We had told you that greatest work is going to be done from this place. That time is now near. When things become difficult, when the planets collide, when it will be time of deluge, this place (Shivadham and Tapovan) will be the shelter.”’ (Satsang Vol 21, Nos 14 & 15)

And again in 1990 on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of round-the-clock Yajnya in Baltimore, USA Shree Vasant told us:

‘Only through FIRE can the planet be healed. Through intense practice of YAJNYA a reverse trend can take place. IT IS A RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK. For this people need to have some discipline, some structure in their lives.

‘People will have to do Agnihotra. When they perform Agnihotra they will get ash. They take the ash and spread it in the soil and water. This neutralizes the toxins. Then and only then things will grow and give nutrition.

‘To the West. To the East. To the North. To the South. In every direction there will be FIRE, healing FIRE of old.

‘NOW IS THAT TIME.

‘Man, driven by greed, in his crazy race for power, knowledge and domination, has drilled the atmosphere and its subtle levels of Pranic energy. This is done with his aerial machines that pollute and put disorder in the subatomic particles of the subtle energy of “Life.” Unconsciously man has knitted a net over the planet that distorts and disturbs the essential reception of the energies that emanate from other planets of the solar system and the Universe.

‘It is therefore necessary to create a communication channel to receive the Sound Current that will be sent to save the planet from total destruction. Through continuous performance of some Homas and Mantras such a channel could be built.

‘It is Divine Will to repair the atmosphere and heal it and therefore man will be stopped in his mad race.

‘Several points on the planet are chosen for special Fires. Agnihotra will now become a global practice on mass scale. Families will be united in LOVE. The indiscriminate acoustic pollution thrust into the atmosphere will be eliminated. The SOUND CURRENT will enter the channel through systems of HOMA.’ (Satsang Vol 18, Nos 8 & 9)

Agnihotra and Seniors

by Birgitt Heigl
Homa-Hof Heiligenberg,
Germany

“Agnihotra renews the brain cells. It revitalizes the skin. It purifies the blood … You sit at Agnihotra fire and breathe in the smoke, which goes quickly into the bloodstream and lungs. This has excellent effect on circulatory system, on the brain and nervous system.“–Shree Vasant Paranjpe

This statement sounds like a healing fountain of youth. In advanced age or in the absence of health, Agnihotra is invaluable for one’s own well-being. In fact, there are more and more experiences that confirm this.

Health, Even at an Advanced Age
There are now countless reports of people who have experienced healing or at least relief from their physical ailments through Agnihotra and the intake of Agnihotra ash. Even with diseases that seem hopeless or are accompanied by great pain, there is hope. How the regeneration comes about is far from clear. Through Agnihotra the respiratory system improves and the immune system is strengthened. The Agnihotra ash is very alkaline and rich in minerals, and helps to detoxify the body. As can be seen in Kirlian photographs, gaps in the person’s energy field close, and energy often increases significantly. These are starting points that still have a wide field of research ahead of them, but the effects can already be experienced.

Since 1974, Horst Heigl (front right) has been passing on the knowledge of Agnihotra and the Fivefold Path. Even at the age of 85, he is still available to interested people almost every day. As the initiator of the Homa-Hof Heiligenberg, since 1987 he has created a place where the positive effects of the Homa fires on the environment can be experienced.

Youthful Appearance
For decades we have seen at Homa Hof Heiligenberg (Homa Center in Germany) how tense or
exhausted visitors change in a positive way. Their faces seem more relaxed after a short time and after Agnihotra they often look more beautiful and younger, as if something inside them is shining from within. No wonder people often think that long-term Agnihotris are much younger than they are.

One reason for this could be the relaxing effect of the Homa fires. Moreover, the high subtle energy (vibration) as generated by Agnihotra acts like an elixir for rejuvenation, because the cells are made to vibrate in a higher, more joyful energy.

An Awakened Mind
“What was your name?” The older you get, the more your memory seems to diminish. The purified atmosphere, as it occurs during Agnihotra, has a beneficial effect on the circulation, the brain and the nervous system, and the brain waves also come to rest. All this has an impact on our thinking, which suddenly appears to become easier and more positive.

Something to be Happy About Every Day
Depression is a common theme in old age. Some feel useless, lonely or even a burden to others. Agnihotra helps here in many ways.

By purifying the atmosphere (both physical and subtle), negative thought patterns can be dissolved. The Vacca bacteria contained in the cow dung ensure that the production of seratonin (happiness hormone) is stimulated. The vibrations emanating from Agnihotra are perceived by many as very loving and calming. Letting go is easier and fears can fade.

It is often easier for seniors to perform Agnihotra and other Yajnyas sitting on a chair.

The Homa fires give again to many a sense of life: without great effort one can do something good with it, not only for oneself, but for the whole environment. Many experience a deep peace in the process.

Carmen, 73 years old. There comes joy: Cow dung is good for the respiratory system and for the mood. The finished dried pieces are used to build the Yajnya fires.

The Elders – Knowledgeable and Wise

Erika, age 79, likes to work in the herb garden.

The Fivefold Path, of which Agnihotra is a part, not only helps us to live a fulfilled life, it is also a foundation stone for a blessed life.

Through Yajnya (Agnihotra is the basic Yajnya), among other things, the energy body is purified.  It relaxes and helps the thoughts to become clearer. The feeling of love often arises all by itself.
Daan (sharing) helps us not to be attached to material things and to please others through gifts. For elders, this becomes especially valuable because the closer the end of life approaches, the more it is necessary to let go of everything. What a blessing when this is done with ease and joy.

Tapa (self-discipline) enables us to respond lovingly to all of life’s circumstances. The older we get, the more there will be things we can no longer do. If you practice Tapa, in time, you can still remain happy and content and smile at adversity.

Through Karma (good deeds – you reap what you sow) we create the basis for good things to happen to us and for help to come. In advanced age, one learns to appreciate this especially.

Swadhyaya (self-study) helps us to be fulfilled, joyful and content even in later years, regardless of external circumstances. Even if one is alone then, he still does not feel lonely. One knows oneself, knows one’s strengths and weaknesses, and ideally has developed an inner greatness through which one becomes a blessing to others. For spiritual development, the Fivefold Path is an invaluable help.

Personal reports:
Franz, age 68
“When we learned about Agnihotra 28 years ago, we were not sure whether to do it or not. Our son had severe asthma and was very sensitive to smoke. But we tried it and it was like a miracle: Our son not only tolerated the Agnihotra smoke, he was completely cured by it!!

“Through Agnihotra and the Fivefold Path I personally feel more balanced and calm in my daily life. Agnihotra became an irreplaceable companion in daily life and has enriched me very much internally.”

Ursula, age 79
“ ’Heal the atmosphere and the atmosphere heals you’. With this thought in mind I started Agnihotra in 1985. Soon I felt how Agnihotra had a positive effect on the whole family and environment–not only on the people, but also on our pets, even on the houseplants. They got bigger and I had wonderful results in my vegetable garden.

“Today, more than 30 years later, I want to say thank you for having known such a great effective thing as Agnihotra.”

Hans and Inge, ages 81 and 74

Hans, age 81.

We have been practicing Agnihotra for more than 40 years. In the first years it was especially exciting to experience the positive effects it had on us. We were able to spend the day with more energy, sleep better at night and experience confirmation of our progress in dreams and visions.

“I (Hans) remember particularly well a time in the early 1980s when I was in a phase of extreme stress at work and Agnihotra removed all stress and strain from me.

“Of course, when practicing Agnihotra for many years, a certain habituation is noticeable; the positive effect, which is still there, is perceived less. Nevertheless, with every Agnihotra that is left out, it can be noticed; something has been missed.

“With the beginning of the practice of Agnihotra, our circle of acquaintances has changed over the years. We are now in contact with people with whom uplifting spiritual conversations mixed with current issues have priority. More often we are together in conversations with contributors at HomaHof Heiligenberg. What a benefit. It is a joy to be involved in the farming and daily fire practice as well.

“Agnihotra has a very positive impact on our lives. More harmony, better health and with Agnihotra ash we have a remedy that contributes to health in many cases. Agnihotra is a benefit for the Earth and for each individual. In our daily life it is an important component.”

It doesn’t always have to be coffee dates. When we meet to do Yajnya together, we feel connected in a unique way. When we perform Om Tryambakam Yajnya we take turns at the fire.

Erika, age 79
“In 1969, after the birth of my 5th child, which was life-threatening for me, I entered a crisis that today would be called burnout–physically, psychically and mentally. Feeling empty, I asked myself, ‘What is the sense of life?’ and made a request to God, ‘Show me the truth.’

“Several years passed until I joined Horst Heigl in yoga classes in 1974.
There someone told me about Agnihotra and that it involves burning cow dung and chanting a mantra. I was very Catholic at that time and I said, “You don’t need to come to me with such stuff …”

“Shortly after, I also learned about Agnihotra from Horst. Since everything spiritual I had heard from him so far was applicable in daily life and I had experienced it as true, there must have been some truth in it. In Horst’s house, where interested people met on weekends, there was a room where only fire ceremonies were performed. On one visit, I was allowed to sit in with the Yajna, on the condition that I remain silent.

“I sat, kept silent, and was happy and full of joy.

“Anyone who has suffered from depression for years, for whom the sensation of joy had completely disappeared from life, can appreciate what it was for me to experience happiness and deepest joy again. This was my introduction to the Homa Fires. I didn’t need any more explanation. I quickly learned Agnihotra and other Yajnas and I still perform these fires regularly, more than 40 years later.

“Since the existence of the Homa Hof Heiligenberg, I have been able to help in many areas so that the blessing of the Yajnas can be experienced by many people and their environment. They have been and still are wonderful, light-filled and fulfilling years. Thank you!”

On Being Conscious and Aware During Trying Times

The following message from Shree Vasant was received by Parvati Rosen-Bizberg of Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, Poland, in meditation.

April 25, 2021 Shree Vasant on Being Conscious and Aware During Trying Times
There have been many natural and unnatural disasters—massive floods, volcanoes, mighty storms, hurricanes, tornadoes.

These were all predicted as well via Orion and in many ancient scriptures which spoke of future civilizations. Thus, all of this should come as no surprise.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Follow these mandates to protect yourselves, but use your sense of inner awareness to perceive when what is spoken is truth or what is spoken is laced with falsehoods and deception.

Both exist. Know when to listen and when to remain one-pointed and focused on your inner knowledge alone.

There is deception even in alternative news, not just mainstream.

Be fully aware that, in dire times, all forces will be awakened to guide the people—some for their own benefit and others to reveal absolute truth.

Those of you for whom the many conspiracy theories have taken your allegiance, beware and be aware that all what is spoken in these conspiracy theories is not true.

Actually, in some there is no thread of truth; in others, only a small amount is actual and accurate.

Please focus inward and allow Divine to uplift and guide you on the best path to full and conscious awareness now.

Being unduly swayed to one side or the other will highly likely bring your awareness down.

Do not allow your gullible self to listen to and be convinced by the rhetoric of either side!

That the diseases now sweeping the world’s stage are real, rest assured, they are.

However, as with any case, opportunists will arise to twist and turn the evidence to suit their persuasion.

Be aware.

Take moderate and close care to protect yourselves and others, but do not allow your spirit to be weakened.

Remain steadfast on your own mission—whether it be to spread these healing fires to all you meet, to instruct and guide others in such beneficial practices such as Hatha Yoga, meditation,

organic gardening, natural medicines, and so on.

Remember to keep your hearts open to receive Divine Blessings via the pure avenues of Music and the Arts.

Through creative avenues you, especially the young, will be able to maintain and buffer your souls during times of grave danger and trial.

We are with you always.

Be aware.
Be aware.
Be aware.

OM TAT SAT.

April 25, 2021 Shree Vasant (During group silent meditation following Agnihotra, Shree Vasant continued)

Future is, at best, uncertain. All theories, those of the right and those of the left, have little truth entwined with what is essentially propaganda for their ways of thinking.

This process is designed to separate and divide you.

For those in the alternative culture, the conspiracy theories are aimed directly and specifically to divide you.

We are here to inform you that in these times, you all must try to UNITE.

Disregard the media—that from the right or from the left. Be aware of the facts, as they can be somewhat clear, though often also manipulated.

However, know that if news media is reporting tens of thousands, for example, you can multiply that and come closer to the actual count.

Unplug from the news as much as possible. Only remain on as long as it takes to have some understanding of current events.

When there are extreme disasters, immediately go within and concentrate fully on visualizing and sending those places protection, prayers for the unfoldment of Divine Will.

On subtle level there is great power. Great power. Great power.

Agnihotra will act as a shield of protection on all levels in all situations. However, you also have to play safe.

Take necessary precautions. Be responsible for your lives and Grace will always take care.

India. India. India. Current wave of this disease is horrific.
You should not go anywhere—only in case of emergency.

Don’t go anywhere. Increase fires.

OM.

We are with all of you.
Walk in Light.
Blessings to all.

All love.
OM TAT SAT.

Healing with Homa Therapy

Luis Alfonso Cuerva Gomes
Real, Spain, Europe

I practice the Homa fires daily. They are a very important part of my life in which nothing has been easy, but these blessed Agnihotra fires are a very important support for me.

It is impressive how every time I do the Homa fires, a multitude of pigeons, turtle doves and various birds gather in the pines around the house. It is as if they come to breathe fresh and clean air, because also in this area, we are being mega fumigated. When I am alone, many of the birds tend to flutter very close to me and the pyramid. At the moments of chanting the Mantras everyone is silent, for a few minutes as in a perennial silence.

In addition to the birds, I have two dogs and a score of cats that I take care of outside the chalet. They come with health problems which I alleviate with the fires and the resulting Agnihotra healing ash that I put in their water and in their food, plus other herbs that I use to help them.

Let me tell you, if it weren’t for the peace and tranquility that these blessed Homa fires give me, my daily routine would be much more difficult. I thank the Almighty for Homa Therapy.

Jose Francisco Rodriguez
Nerja, Spain, Europe

I am 68 years old. I came to know América and Josué some years ago and thanks to them I have learned about Homa Therapy. Above all, they are two people who live what they say. They are in line with what they do. That has impressed me more than anything. In the beginning, I was with them a few times doing Homa Therapy at their home.

Afterwards, I did an exchange and I had to move and pack up all my things. I had more than 40 boxes in a warehouse and the Agnihotra pyramid was placed in one of them. So, there was a time when I did not practice the Homa Fires.

I have other spiritual practices and one day I sincerely asked for a sign that if Homa Therapy could help me on the spiritual path. I spoke in a way with Master Vasant and I said if this really is something that can definitely benefit me, You have to help me to find the pyramid, because it is impossible to find the Agnihotra kit in more than 40 boxes.

So, I went to the basement, with all due respect to that challenge. I went downstairs, opened the door, found all the boxes and all the things, went to a certain one and BOOM! There was the pyramid. It was in a matter of seconds. I didn’t have to check into one after another, after another, no, no, no, no. It was a magical coordination.

This was that extraordinary indication. It was telling me that, yes, I should do this practice. And from then on, I was encouraged to return to Agnihotra and Om Tryambakam Homa. The Fires give me a lot of inspiration.

Homa Therapy is an Ayurvedic therapy; Ayur means life and Veda is sacred knowledge of divine laws.

Thank you for this opportunity to share my experience.

From Shree Vasant’s Teachings

Agnihotra and the Nadi System (from Satsang August 6, 1981)
Prana is the life energy which pulsates through us and connects us with the cosmos. It can be termed cosmic energy to embrace vibration, radiation, pulsation. The harmonious functioning of Prana through the respiratory system affects the nervous system and yet another subtler system of the body which Yogis call The Nadi system. Nadi system is beyond the scalpel of the surgeon. Kundalini is based on Nadi system.

Mind and body affect each other. Prana is the motive force which connects the motivation of the mind and the physical action of the body. Harmonious flow of Prana determines the harmonious functioning of the nerves. Harmony between body, mind and functioning of Prana could be termed as “health.” When mind is in the grips of anger, greed, lust, jealousy, pride etc. it affects the functioning of Prana, thus leading to “dis-ease.” Similarly, harmonious functioning of Prana tends to curb the diseased state of the mind. Any tendency of the mind which takes it away from the state of total Love is dis-ease.

Our breathing is related to the phases of the moon. Breathing through the left nostril has a different effect from breathing through the right nostril. If a surgeon were to tear open the nose he will find the same filter and we are breathing in the same air. However, the different effect is on the level of the subtle Nadi system.

If sometimes you overeat, then lie for a few minutes on the left side. Automatically, the right nostril will start functioning and the process of digestion is helped. This is called the “sun” effect or heating effect in the ancient science of Yoga. If you lie on the right side the effect will be exactly opposite.

Disease on the physical body is merely the symptom of something that has gone wrong much before the symptom appeared. If instrumentation were designed to gauge the qualitative difference in T-fields and L-fields as they are called nowadays, we will be able to recognize a disease much earlier, before it manifests physically.

Our breathing system depends on the phases of the moon. Every 3 days after the full moon the Nadi system works in a particular way and then changes, culminating into a special position on no moon day. Again the 3-day cycle begins.

Exactly at the time of sunrise at the coordinate of the planet where one is situated, a change in breathing system takes place. If one is sleeping at this time, the change may or may not come about as Nature’s timetable has planned. However, if you wake up before sunrise, automatically the change will take place as Nature has planned it. If you do Agnihotra at sunrise, then you are breathing in extremely medicinal air charged with the intensified subtle energy coming out of the copper pyramid used in Agnihotra process. Agnihotra process makes use of the peculiar turbulence of energy at the timing of sunrise and sunset to bring about a beneficial change in the atmosphere.  Agnihotra induces beneficial change in the plasma source regions and plasma environment. This automatically affects Prana. Prana affects mind, and thus the capering frolic of the mind is reduced in Agnihotra atmosphere. This helps the nervous system.

Fivefold Path for Happy Living

1. Yajnya
HOMA Therapy is the science of purification of the atmosphere through the agency of FIRE. AGNIHOTRA HOMA (YAJNYA) is the basic HOMA. It is tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise/sunset and gives nutrients to the plant kingdom, removes diseases in a certain area and removes tension on the mind. This is the basic process in the Vedic sciences of medicine, agriculture, climate engineering and interplanetary communication.
2. Daan
