Centre of Light Update

Rory Maher
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, Poland

At Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, celebrations are in order!  As we write, the cast iron balustrade is being installed on the terrace of the Centre of Light, which brings to completion a phase that began last fall. This means we can already have gatherings on the deck, with beautiful  views over the Mandala Garden, the forests and snow-capped Tatra Mountains. It feels as if a milestone has been reached.

The geodesic dome is a greenhouse to be used for children’s workshops. Funding was supplied by a grant.

Installation of the floor heating and screed (levelled) floor, roof insulation, the plastering of ceilings, and the electric and plumbing work – all major interior accomplishments–have been completed in this period. Exterior work includes the septic, grey water and drainage systems.

Centre of Light

Now, everything is ready for the clay plastering of the walls that is due to start in mid-July and will last throughout the summer. We welcome volunteers who wish to join a creative team to help and learn how to work with this natural material.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and donations that have come from many around the world. They continue to be vital in bringing to fruition the vision that Shree Vasant had for the Centre of Light.

Although we are celebrating these miracle achievements, we still need funds to complete the building so that it can sooner serve its purpose as a centre for Homa Therapy. It will also be a venue for teachers and pioneers in the fields of ecology, spirituality, healing and creative arts.

Ultimately, Shree Vasant often said that the Centre of Light will serve as a refuge in the coming times. The pandemic has shown how the world can change very rapidly, and we feel a sense of urgency to complete this building. We appeal to the global Agnihotra community for your continued support.

We are forever grateful,

Our Homa Gardens–Tapovan, Maharashtra, India

Bruce Johnson, Anne Godfrey and Aaron Kidd

Tapovan, in northern Maharashtra State, India, not far from the city of Dhule, has been the site of continuous, round-the-clock Om Tryambakam Homa for the last 20 years.

Aaron Kidd

Aaron Kidd, originally from Australia, who lives in Tapovan, began the roof-top garden in 2019 and it has expanded and flourished over the years, to include a variety of fruit trees, along with a variety of vegetables and herbs. Every square meter of space is utilized.

Last year Aaron decided to expand the rooftop garden by developing a new garden at ground level behind the bungalow where we stay. The second garden is now providing abundant greens for daily juices, salads, and fresh vegetables for steaming.

Whenever fresh produce is needed–for example, if visitors arrive unexpectedly–one of the staff can quickly go up the stairs and harvest fresh herbs for a refreshing herbal tea to offer to our guests.

Now also, there is more choice from the handy ground level food garden behind the main bungalow. It takes just a few minutes, to cut some herbs for a quick pot of organic herbal tea, or vegetables for a quick salad lunch.

Another very helpful benefit to our daily lives is the coolness which these gardens have offered to us, especially during the very hot Indian summers when temperatures can soar up to nearly 50 degrees Celsius [122 degrees Fahrenheit–Ed.]

The earth gives us everything if we treat her with respect and nurture her with the healing fires of Homa Therapy. OM SHREE OM

Update on Agnihotra Cowdung in the U.S.: More Sources Needed

Cows owned by Fivefold Path, Inc., in Madison, Virginia

Since COVID-19 erupted in the U.S., the number of people wanting to start or re-start Agnihotra in this country and abroad has increased. While this is great news, maintaining enough dried cowdung for those who want it has been a huge challenge for U.S. suppliers.

A major U.S. source of dried cowdung from India has recently informed us that they will no longer import cowdung, due to rising costs and shipping difficulties.

Decades ago, Shree Vasant warned of coming disasters and diseases, and urged Agnihotris to work toward self-sufficiency. He recommended storing six months’ worth of food and necessary supplies, including Agnihotra supplies.

Manure from all breeds of cows are suitable for Agnihotra, but if possible dung from cows fed organic feed is preferred.

If you have access to cows, and if climate and space permit, we encourage you to look into drying your own cowdung. If you have friends nearby who do Agnihotra, perhaps you could work on this project together. Richard Powers of agnihotrasupplies.com will be happy to advise you about different methods of drying cowdung, both outdoors and in sheltered spaces. Please contact him at rich@agnihotrasupplies.com for more information.

If you know of people who have greenhouses which aren’t used all year long, you may want to approach them about the possibility of drying cowdung for sale.

More sources of dried cowdung are needed in the U.S. to meet the demand. If you would be interested in producing enough to sell to others, please contact Richard Powers to explore this possibility. It could be a great service as well as a source of added income.

Healing with Homa Therapy

Karen Cleveland
Om Shree Dham Homa Farm, Australia

Harvesting pumpkins at Om Shree Dham.

My experience with Agnihotra is that it has been a Godsend. I have more clarity, peace and discernment. There is more harmony and openness in family interactions. I have been able to let go of fear and come from a more centered place. What a blessing in these times, to have awareness of what is happening in the world and at the same time maintain a centered state.

I used to get migraines a couple of times a month; this has stopped.

If there is any soreness or skin problems, first stop is Agnihotra ash mixed with ghee. Skin issues clear up within a day usually.

I find any pain goes away immediately with application of ash and ghee, then reapplied as needed –pain relief that is actually beneficial for the body.

A family member had digestive issues. She could not eat anything other than apples without feeling nauseous. She put Agnihotra ash ointment on her stomach and took Agnihotra ash internally in water. Within a day she could eat normally again.

Our cat became sick after attempting to eat a poisonous frog. She was foaming at the mouth and was semi paralyzed. Every couple of hours we gave her a dropper-full of Agnihotra ash water and the next day she was fully recovered.

These big and little miracles happen all the time consistently. I can’t imagine my life without Agnihotra.

(When using Agnihotra ash in home remedies, we want to use the very best ash. We should bathe and put on clean clothes before doing Agnihotra. Also, we want to use Agnihotra ash from fires that were done at the exact time, and that burned quickly and completely. Other Agnihotra ash may be used in the garden or on houseplants etc.–Ed.)

Anabel Yovera Monteza
Jaén, Peru, South America

Mateo practicing Agnihotra with his mother, Anabel, and his father, Joel.

I am the mother of Joe Mateo Llatas Yovera, 9 years of age. Today I want to share with you our beautiful experience of practicing Homa Therapy.

In November 2020, our son became very ill, to the point that he had to be hospitalized. Doctors told us that he had multiple lymph nodes swollen and that his diagnosis was likely Hodgkin’s lymphoma. We had to bring him to the city of Lima. We live in Jaén, and the doctors couldn’t do anything further here.

Our son was hospitalized, with fever, night sweats, very low hemoglobin levels, and no appetite at all. Doctors have been doing a series of studies and analyses. A bone marrow aspirate was performed, and they have not been able to find his strange disease.

It was in March of this year that, thanks to the friendship we have with Eng. Luis Tafur, he told us all about Homa Therapy, and the improvements that can be obtained in health, in aspects of life in general, on the soul level. He invited us to participate in Agnihotra, and we thank him infinitely that he has taken the time to come to our home for sunrise and sunset Agnihotra, in order to harmonize the health of our child and our entire family.

My son, in the two months of constant practice of Homa Therapy, has had many improvements in his health. His night sweats are gone. He eats more. He is more harmonious. And I also like to emphasize that, at his school, the teacher recently congratulated us for Mateo’s good grades, for the attention he pays in class, and told us that he no longer is distracted as he had been before.

He is a more smiling, more cheerful child. How can we not be happy if day by day we see the benefits of the practice of Homa Therapy fires?

In his last blood count, which was in April, he had 11.9 and the doctors in Lima told us that this is a very encouraging improvement. This gives us faith and hope that thanks to the perseverance of doing Agnihotra, my son will continue his recovery.

With much affection, I share this experience with you, wishing with all my heart that we all may continue on this path of physical and spiritual improvement with Homa Therapy. Thank you!

From Shree Vasant’s Teachings

Karma
Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you. How can we serve our neighbor? How can our lives be used in service of others? If we are only interested in doing good deeds for recognition or even on a subtler level to have good action done toward us, our motivation is greed. We must aim to be of service just for that. Then only the rewards we reap, we truly deserve.

When we are doing good deeds under the guise of service but we have ulterior, selfish motives, who are we fooling? No one.

Perhaps people will think you are a good man but the Divine is never fooled. Not only [that] the deeds be good but the mind also be pure.

A New Age is Dawning
(from Satsang, February 1992)
Agnihotra healing fire is the way. People will begin to see now. They can easily feel the tremendous peace that comes by Grace by mere performance of Agnihotra.

Agnihotra healing fire should go in a big way now. Many fires, lot of ash, all going to the ground, the water, the air. It is our job to serve the planet by sharing knowledge about ancient techniques of healing the body and mind of which Agnihotra pyramid fire tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise/sunset  is the base.

Also we have to do now more Homa fires, particularly in the densely populated areas where pollution problems are paramount.

A NEW AGE IS DAWNING. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF A WORLD FULL OF PEACE AND BLISS BUT FIRST OF ALL THE OBSTRUCTIONS MUST BE REMOVED.

Practice of healing Homa fires on mass scale will exactly do that.

The tropical rainforests must now be replanted by Homa Therapy methods and the destruction of them must be stopped immediately so that man will have oxygen to breathe.

Now Love they neighbor as thyself is a must. HIS WILL BE DONE.

Fivefold Path for Happy Living

This is the basic process in the Vedic sciences of medicine, agriculture, climate engineering and interplanetary communication.
