Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya & Centre of Light Update

At Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya in southern Poland, community life continues to flourish as steady progress is made toward the long‑awaited Centre of Light. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, international friends, and ongoing support, the vision of a healing Homa centre is coming ever closer.

Centre of Light Progress
Work inside the Centre has moved forward with renewed momentum. Tom Couto’s enthusiastic tiling set the pace for continued improvements. Ulrich, Asia, and Patryk completed the Art Room columns, while Jessica Auza from Peru donated beautiful wicker lamps that transformed the café and art room. Stunning ceramic tiles gifted by Belgian artist Anne Canniere will soon be installed.

Agnihotra on the balcony of the Centre of Light

It has been a long journey for us, and we are happy to say there are some promising opportunities for the future of our eagerly awaited centre. We are working on some grant applications and co-operations with local and EU organizations in order to raise the funds needed to open its doors.

Visitors, Workshops & Community Life
In early spring we welcomed a wonderful Sanskrit teacher, Shuba Vengadakrishnan, who has a popular YouTube channel and is now uploading great videos she made of the ecovillage and its residents. We are very grateful to have made this special connection, and for her introducing us and Agnihotra to her wide audience.

This year brought a wonderful flow of visitors from Poland and abroad, including Dr. Henry Gregory, Tom Couto, Tom Dorfman, Monica Wakefield from U.S. and many others.

Henry Gregory offered an inspiring session on Non‑violent Communication, providing valuable tools for Swadhyaya and harmonious community living. We are very grateful for his visit.

Ewa Mikołajczak led her popular Hellinger family workshop [an experiential group therapy method for healing deep family patterns-Ed.], and participants joined Agnihotra every evening.

Weekly women’s circles, Satsangs, and healing gatherings continue to deepen our collective practice. During Vyahruti Homa with Gayatri Mantra at 12 noon daily, we call out names sent from around the world, offering prayers for healing and peace.

Nature Responds to Homa
Our Mandala garden is thriving thanks especially to Asia, our resident garden queen. Despite official lab results years ago claiming that nothing would grow in our acidic soil, the abundance of vegetables and herbs shows the remarkable effects of Homa Therapy on plant vitality.

Wildlife continues to return, including beavers, black storks, cranes, and marsh harriers, drawn to the atmosphere created by decades of uninterrupted Yajnya. Rory keeps our bees healthy, along with our beloved Homa cows and joyful ducks. Even our cats and dogs live together in harmony.

Music, Culture & Outreach
In early July, Dutch duo Dennis and Gillian of Om Shree Mantra and Homa Experience, accompanied by Suwindi on drums and vocals, offered an inspiring fundraising concert for the Centre of Light. Their tour began at Homahof in Germany, continued at Bhrugu Aranya, and concluded in Kraków.

Concert at the Bhajan Cafe near Kraków

Our dear friend Jeevika, a gifted networker and strong supporter of our ecovillage, invited us to participate in a festival at a local Indian temple near Kraków. The event was attended by the leader of the Indian Cultural Association, with whom we made a positive connection. Jeevika also arranged a beautiful concert at Bhajan Café, a popular Indian vegetarian restaurant in Kraków. The concert was inspirational and spirited with the audience all joining in the chanting and later, in sharing Agnihotra. It was a wonderful event!

More outreach–Agnihotra workshop at Bielsko-Biała, Poland

We continued our collaboration with the YouTube channel Healing Our Earth, offering three online presentations on Homa Therapy, with more planned.

May 17, 2026 in front of the Parshuram Temple at Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya

Ceremony & Celebration
On May 17th, Rory and Asia led a joyous Rudra Yajnya in the Parshuram temple in celebration of Shree Gajanan Maharaj’s Birthday. Additional Rudras are performed, usually monthly.

We look forward to welcoming Waldorf teacher Agata Wejtko and her Waldorf school students for another visit.

With Gratitude
We warmly welcome visitors throughout the year and extend heartfelt thanks to all who support the Centre of Light.

YouTube Program on the Spread of Agnihotra

Ed.

On Sunday, August 23, 2026 the YouTube channel Healing Our Earth aired a 5-hour program on the spread of Agnihotra around the world and Shree Vasant Paranjpe’s work worldwide. The show featured experiences and accounts from Agnihotra practitioners and Homa Therapy teachers from different parts of the globe.

Agnihotra practitioners may see familiar faces as the program chronicles when Shree Vasant Paranjpe first came to the US in 1972, to Homa Therapy centers around the world today. Many presentations include old photos and footage of Agnihotra and Homa Therapy events.

You can view the program here. (The program starts after about 25 seconds.)
Heartfelt thanks to our hosts at Healing Our Earth for the opportunity to share this knowledge.

Agnihotra Experiences

Shyamnarayan Sriram Vishwakarma

I observed the following effects of the Agnihotra practice and the application of its ash on the guava tree in my garden:

1) First, I should mention that guavas are not currently available in the market during this season, but I do have them on my tree, thanks to the regular practice of Agnihotra and the application of its ash.

2) I’ve noticed a record number of guavas on my tree.

3) The taste of my guavas is much sweeter than from the guavas that one can usually by in the market.

4) The size of my guavas is almost double the size of the market guavas.

Agnihotra is a wonderful gift from ancient Vedic science, which anyone can use due do its simplicity and economy.

Nature gives her abundance and health in so many ways for this small service
towards her with Agnihotra.

I came to know Homa Therapy through Dr. Jaime Montufar approximately 16 years ago. In those days,
I was suffering from severe gastritis— serious and terrible—with regurgitation problems and a lot of pain. When I saw blood in my stool, that’s when I became alarmed and I went to see the doctor. But after a while, I had to travel to another country for work, and my condition worsened there.

I have been reluctant my whole life to seek Western medicine, so coming back, I returned to Dr. Montufar and bought an Agnihotra pyramid and I began practicing Agnihotra every day. I did the Om  Tryambakam Homa before the morning Agnihotra,

I did the sunset Agnihotra, and also the 5 a.m. Mantras that Dr. Montufar taught me.
I followed these practices for several years—three or four years—and I took Agnihotra ash every day, several times.

The whole issue with the ulcer and gastritis stopped, without the need for surgery or any other treatment.

It’s worth mentioning that my family thought I was crazy back then. They didn’t want me to perform Agnihotra. They would leave, closing the doors and windows. They couldn’t stand the smoke, the Mantras, or anything else.

Now, these days, they ask me to do it. If I don’t do Agnihotra, they’re asking me to do it. My children tell me, “Dad, Dad, there’s a lot of negative energy, do the Fire, do the Fire.” And it has to be done. And I do it; I enjoy doing it.

From Shree Vasant’s Teachings

On How Agnihotra Works
The ghee (clarified cow’s butter) is the key. It surrounds everything like a coating. Ghee is a carrier. In the ghee is locked up powerful energy, God-Consciousness in fact. It is the energy from the sun, sunrise and sunset, it is the Mantras, powerful vibrations and the interaction of the dung which neutralizes by absorption and the rice which replaces the toxins with nutrients. Many other benefits can be revealed, such as proper person, direction of the pyramid, breath, mind, karma.

You see what happens. The sun brings or takes the energy which makes all conditions conducive to an antipollutionary change. It calms the world. Then a fire. The pyramid is a generator and a turbine. The dung, ghee and rice then interact to form this composition which is thrust, surrounds, neutalizes and nutritionalizes the material. Then with organic substances provided, the nutrients for survival, yield and [propogation are given]. This is physically how the Agnihotra fire heals the atmosphere.

The Mantras and the Grace, particularly, their power cannot be measured. Once the ghee surrounds the object, if it is organic, it will absorb the nutrients, it will absorb the love and it will become happy. Therefore, the taste, quantity, texture, color of all fruits and vegetables will all be above average. All Grace. All Love.

the person should not be left out of this understanding, nor should the place where this is performed. the purer the YAJAMAN (person doing the HOMA fire), the purer the surrounding, the greater the impact, the more profound the effect, the more the Grace.

The scientists are going to want to try to explain the process of Agnihotra chemically and they may or may not be able to do a thing. What is certain is that the scientist does not need metaphysics although this would completely explain YAJNYA but certainly by quantum physics they can explain the phenomena of Mantras, organic materials, metals, shapes and the rhythms of nature.

On Faults
Look at what your faults are but do not dwell on them. Look at your strengths and build on them. Spend time in silence, YAJNYA, meditation, etc. Free yourself from the bondage of attachment.

On Envy
You should never feel envious of another person. If someone else’s life appears simple to you, you should say, “What is it that the person is doing to simplify his life? What priorities are set in order to simplify life?” You will notice that the priorities are being set, disciplines are being kept and service is being given without expectation This makes life simple. This is all Grace.

On Unity
Planet is heading for destruction In these last days, unify. All must come together. This is ONE FAMILY. When one falls, have compassion. When one rises, have joy. Rejoice and be glad of another’s success, of another’s achievements, of another’s spiritual growth. There is no competition. All of you are one.

Fivefold Path for Happy Living

1. Yajnya
HOMA Therapy is the science of purification of the atmosphere through the agency of FIRE. AGNIHOTRA HOMA (YAJNYA) is the basic HOMA. It is tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise/sunset and gives nutrients to the plant kingdom, removes diseases in a certain area and removes tension on the mind. This is the basic process in the Vedic sciences of medicine, agriculture, climate engineering and interplanetary communication.
2. Daan
Sharing of your assets in a spirit of humility. This corrects imbalance in financial matters and creates non-attachment to worldly possessions.
3. Tapa
Self-discipline of body and mind. This is conducive to a change in attitudes of mind and body. It results in a harmonious state of mind.
4. Karma
“You reap as you sow.” Always practicing good Karma (actions) diminishes the burden of negative Karma and one begins to invest in his own future. This means that what you do today will bring its fruits. Sowing seeds of love and kindness will bless my garden with plenty of love. Do Karma for self-purification.
5. Swadhyaya
Practice Swadhyaya (Self-study) for liberation. Who am I? Why am I here? My work on this planet is to learn to react with total LOVE with each opportunity given to me.

This is the Fivefold Path for happy living on the planet. By practicing the Fivefold Path you become better members of your society, group, religion, community, etc.
