On July 2nd, 2022, after a break of 2 years, our Agnihotra summer meeting could take place again at Homa-Hof Heiligenberg in Germany. The motto was: For peace and unity. Great harmony and peace could be felt throughout the day with almost 600 people who came from near and far, many also from Switzerland and Austria.
While Homa farming has been found to yield excellent and sometimes amazing results, not everyone can have a Homa farm; a number of disciplines must be observed, and at least several people will be needed to meet the requirements. However, home gardeners have experienced wonderful results when Agnihotra and other Homa fires have been done in or near their gardens.
On May 18, we fulfilled the 7 days of continuous Om Tryambakam Homa globally – an achievement accomplished through the union of many Agnihotris. The average of Tryambakam Homa practiced daily was 160 hours – illuminating hearts.
We in Poland are witnessing the effects of war in neighboring Ukraine. Refugees are fleeing, the borders are full. Poland has opened its arms and hearts to gather Ukrainians and welcome them to their homeland. Other countries also are taking in refugees. We see the sorrow and anxiety the refugees carry, often having been separated from family members, having fled their homes, jobs, culture. Lives in turmoil.
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya is less than four hours from the Ukrainian border. We are in a unique position to be able to help during these troubling, uncertain times. We are honored to have this opportunity.
I am a graduate of the National University of Piura. I am an Industrial Engineer and I work for the multinational company called Dole. My best experience, I can say, was at the banana plantation Fundo Homa Joselito in Chulucanas. My job is to visit the farms daily for quality control.
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, in southern Poland, is located on 5 hectares of beautiful countryside surrounded by forests with a stunning view of the Tatra Mountains. It is not, however, considered a farming area.
Even so, a vegetable garden was started here using Homa organic techniques in the mid 90’s, and that first year there was great success growing different vegetables, even tomatoes.
Om Shree Dham has been operating as a Homa Farm since the mid 1990s. It is run by Homa Therapists Lee and Frits Ringma, who were blessed to receive training directly under Shree Vasant Paranjpe. The farm is 25 acres, nestled in a beautiful valley, surrounded by Australian bush and backing onto a vast national forest of rolling wooded hills.
The Parama Dham Fire Temple in Madison, Virginia, U.S.A. was inaugurated by Shree Vasant in 1973. It was the first Fire Temple in the world established under Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj’s dispensation of resuscitation of the ancient science of atmospheric purification for the New Age. The name Parama Dham, which means House of Almighty Father, was chosen by Maharaj Shree.
At Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, celebrations are in order! As we write, the cast iron balustrade is being installed on the terrace of the Centre of Light, which brings to completion a phase that began last fall. This means we can already have gatherings on the deck, with beautiful views over the Mandala Garden, the forests and snow-capped Tatra Mountains. It feels as if a milestone has been reached.
Agnihotra facilitated a profound transformation of environment in our last sanctuary. A once barren hilltop with non-producing fruit trees and dry, stony soil turned into what could only be described as Eden-like, within 1 year.
