Parama Dham’s 52nd Anniversary
Ed.
September 22, 2025 marked the 52nd anniversary of the Parama Dham Fire Temple in Madison, Virginia, USA. Inaugurated by Shree Vasant in 1973, Parama Dham was the first Fire Temple in the world established under Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj’s dispensation of resuscitation of the ancient science of atmospheric purification for the New Age. The name Parama Dham, which means House of Almighty Father, was chosen by Maharaj Shree.
In a Fire Temple, there is no priest and nothing is worshiped. Agnihotra atmospheric purification technique is performed there twice daily at sunrise and sunset. A fixed set of mantras is chanted after Agnihotra. With the exception of the mantras and specific Sanskrit verses, silence is observed in the Fire Temple at all times. The atmosphere becomes supercharged with healing energies.
In a separate room from the main temple room, 4 hours of Om Tryambakam Homa are performed daily. On no moon and full moon days, more hours of Om Tryambakam Homa are done.
Regarding Fire Temples, Shree Vasant once stated, “Time is coming in a few years when extremely strict disciplines will have to be maintained to keep up the purity of these places and the harmony cycles around them. These places will become special refuge for multitudes. It is preferable that they be situated in a large garden area where food can be grown by the YAJNYA method. We need some places in cities also.”
Over the years, countless visitors have found it easy to enjoy deep meditations at the temple; the peace so often experienced there can be profound.
Many people have mentioned hearing the Audible Life Stream in Parama Dham, the “Unstruck Music of the Universe,” or ANAHAT. By concentrating on that Divine sound, desires are lessened and the mind is unburdened. (Click here for more information on ANAHAT.-Ed.)
Some visitors have had deeply moving experiences at the temple. Years ago, a man who had lost his wife and daughter in a car accident stopped by for a brief visit. After visiting the temple, he told us that for the first time since the accident, he felt as if a weight had been lifted from his heart.
One extremely withdrawn Vietnam veteran used to live just behind the temple. He used to walk by our property when my husband was building our house, observing the progress. Richard struck up a conversation with him one day and told him about Parama Dham. The man came three times for evening Agnihotra. Afterwards he told me, “This has changed my life.” Some time later, he married and became more active in the community, even heading our local homeowners association.
A four-year-old child who felt a great affinity for Buddha came to the temple with her grandmother. Afterwards, the girl kept asking her grandmother about whose house this was, who was in charge and so on. Finally she asked, “Do they know that Buddha lives there?”
Several people have stated that they saw angels, Devas or other Light Beings in the temple.
Visiting Parama Dham
The following points are posted at the temple entrance:
Please help maintain the special energies by observing the following:
- Keep SILENCE at all times in the temple and on the property (except for specific Mantras/Sanskrit verses.)
- REMOVE YOUR SHOES and leave them on the porch before entering the building.
- NO CELL PHONES in the building or on the property.
- Due to subtle energies, WOMEN IN MONTHLY PERIOD may not enter Parama Dham or the property.
- DO NOT TOUCH the cushion in front of the Temple Room pyramid, the pyramids, ash containers or anyone who is performing fire.
- To PERFORM FIRES in Parama Dham, please first confirm the protocols with Lisa or Richard Powers.
- For questions or assistance, please contact Richard Powers at 540-407-0273 or Lisa Powers at 540-948-4945.
If one cannot bathe before coming to the temple, rinsing hands, feet and mouth is recommended.
If you would like to visit Parama Dham for the first time, we recommend that you email us at info@agnihotra.org in advance.
Heartfelt thanks to all the people over the years, from places near and far, who have given their time, energy and financial support to help us keep Parama Dham going all these years.
Homa Therapy Teacher Certification Program
Ed.
Part One of a Homa Therapy Teacher Certification program was held October 24-26th, 2025 in Madison, Virginia, at the home of Richard and Lisa Powers. Three attendees are working toward becoming certified teachers; because we had such a small group, several others who wished to learn more about Homa Therapy were permitted to attend.
Most of the sessions began with Vyahruti Homa and meditation, and participants visited the nearby Parama Dham fire temple for Agnihotra.
Since the trainees had already received in-depth instruction on Agnihotra, Friday was largely spent in studying the other aspects of the Fivefold Path: Daan, Tapa, Karma and Swadhyaya. The purpose of certification and the responsibilities and requirements of a Certified Homa Therapy teacher were also discussed.
Dr. Ulrich Berk joined us from Germany via Zoom, and gave a thought-provoking presentation on Agnihotra and science. A number of experiments with Agnihotra that have been conducted in recent years were shared, highlighting Agnihotra’s effects on air, water, plant life and more. Dr. Berk also stressed the importance of distinguishing between statements from ancient Vedic knowledge, personal opinions, and what has been proven in controlled experiments.
On Saturday, clinical psychologist and president of Baltimore Homa Community Dr. Henry Gregory shared a presentation on Homa Psychotherapy.
As Dr. Gregory stated, “Homa Therapy is the process and practice of training the mind using meditation, mindfulness, values clarification, affirmation, and behavioral skills in an atmosphere seeded with Homa. Homa reduces pollution and consequently reduces stress and tension on the mind. When the stress on the mind is reduced and we become more relaxed, it becomes possible to dive deeper into the mind.”
(See the full summary of Dr. Gregory’s presentation in the article Homa Therapy below.-Ed.)
Senior Homa Therapy teacher Tom Couto, from Baltimore Homa Community, and myself taught How To Teach. In addition to explaining preparation and different teaching techniques, teaching with humility was stressed; let the message be in the foreground, and not ourselves. As many people here in the U.S. are Christians, we discussed Agnihotra and the Bible. (See the article below.-Ed.) Agnihotra and Veganism was also addressed.
Ann Couto of Baltimore Homa Community gave Part One of a presentation on Agnihotra Ash medicines, which will be continued in Part Two of the training.

At intervals throughout the weekend, each trainee gave a 5-10 minutes presentation on Agnihotra, and received feedback from the Homa Therapy teachers and other participants.
After so much time sitting indoors, we took a much-needed walk down to White Oak Lake. The beautiful fall foliage served as a reminder of importance of caring for Nature.

On Sunday, Parvati Rosen-Bizberg of Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, Poland, joined us via Zoom for a presentation on Agnihotra and working with children. She is co-author of the book Yoga and Meditation for Children, and has given many workshops based on the book.

Participants took a written quiz to help solidify their knowledge and find any gaps in their understanding.
At noon, we did Sharanagati together. Afterwards, the Madison Homa community joined us for a vegetarian potluck lunch. This social time was a valuable opportunity for more recent Agnihotris to meet and share experiences with longtime Agnihotra practitioners.
Deepest thanks to Tom and Ann Couto, Dr. Henry Gregory, Dr. Ulrich Berk, and Parvati Rosen-Bizberg for sharing their time, knowledge and experience.
Homa Therapy

Dr. Henry Gregory
Baltimore, Maryland, USA
“Under the constant agitation of the senses the mind is just like constantly churning water. You have to gain the capacity to stop the mind. To do this you have to be able to switch the senses off. When this happens the mind does something that it has never done – it goes still. When it goes still it begins to perceive in a different way.”–Vasant Paranjipe
Homa Therapy is the process and practice of training the mind, using meditation, mindfulness, values clarification, affirmation, and behavioral skills in an atmosphere seeded with Homa. Homa reduces pollution and consequently reduces stress and tension on the mind. When the stress on the mind is reduced and we become more relaxed, it becomes possible to dive deeper into the mind.
Homas were introduced in the Vedic science of bioenergy. Homa cleanses the atmosphere (air, water, soil, etc.) of the many pollutants that sap human energy by creating blockages to the flow of life energy also known as prana, chi or ntu, depending on the culture of reference. These pollutants have become a major source of stress and thereby dysfunction and illness as the world has become more industrialized. Pollutants overstimulate and tax our immune systems and limit the natural flow of mental, emotional, physical energy that is required for optimal human functioning. In today’s world, it’s as if we live in a dirty fishbowl absorbing endless toxicity without critical consciousness of the effect it has on us.
The Vedic science of bioenergy offers Homas as a calming, nurturing process that feeds nutrients back into the atmosphere, supporting higher mental functioning, resilience, and actualization of potential. There are individuals and communities around the world that have consistently practiced these Homas for the last fifty years.
In Baltimore, Maryland, one of the primary foci of Homa Therapy has been mental health. At one point there existed an agency staffed completely by clinicians and administrators who were Homa practitioners. The agency, The Baltimore Family Life Center, provided therapeutic foster care and behavioral health services as well as professional mental health training for many years, and facilitated the development of many offspring agencies.
Much of the personal and collective turmoil in the world is the result of the negative, dysfunctional programming that occurs as a result of a systemic focus on the acquisition of wealth and power that exploits rather than supports human needs. As a result, many people feel unattended to and uncared for. Whether they are conscious of these feelings or not, people act out these feelings of hurt, anger, isolation, etc. in many unhealthy ways. The current system that dominates the world seems to only exacerbate the problem, marketing to the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the populations. The result is a tremendous increase in anxiety (future focus) and depression (past focus) that compromises the well-being and happiness of the population. While medications may help this situation in some limited ways, they are not the answer. Yes, they can raise or settle one’s energy in the short term, but what is required is shift in one’s thinking, emotional regulation and ultimately behaviors.
The common pattern is to get some quick relief without paying attention to long term consequences. So, addictions plague us as a society. When I say addictions, I don’t mean just drugs and alcohol. I also mean addictions to poor eating habits, emotional reactivity, blaming, gambling, smoking, complaining, avoiding discomfort, overthinking, etc. etc. etc. We are creatures of habits. The only question is whether we intentionally choose habits that are healthy for us (or are chosen by habits that are unhealthy for us).
Homa Therapy identifies six desires or passions that sabotage human happiness as the underlying causes of distress that must be accepted into awareness, managed and attended to with some manner of self-discipline (Tapa). The passions are: Anger, Lust, Greed, Pride, Envy and Attachment.
Homa Therapy supports health by having the client and provider’s interaction guided by the Seven Rules of Thumb in a nonpathological approach:
1. No Fault-finding: positivity (competence, coherency, harmony); compassion, empathy, forgiveness;
2. Single-pointedness: focus; concentration; present orientation; avoidance of distractions
3. Discrimination: freedom of choice; clarification of goals and objectives; finding purpose; follow through (commitment & persistence); conscious consuming
4. Non-Attachment: Letting go; Focus on Process (not outcomes/results); Acceptance; Faith; Courage.
5. Think Something Good
6. Say something Good
7. Do Something Good
So, in essence, Homa Therapy looks to identify, promote and reinforce the client’s innate strengths and competences, thereby assisting the client in understanding his/her purpose that may be facilitated and/or masked by addictions, abuse, neglect, etc. at an individual, familial or community level. Addictions at their source are futile efforts to feel good. Abuse, neglect and other traumas create unpleasant feelings that we frequently run from. However, one can run but one cannot hide, as each experience, pleasant or unpleasant, embodies a life lesson that will follow one until and unless one faces the experience and learns the lesson.
Homa Therapy promotes a gentle and supportive approach to facing oneself, processing the lessons and changing the behavior. It starts with the premise that each of us has what we need to heal, grow and actualize potential, inside of ourselves. The Homa Therapist’s responsibility is to lead the participant on a journey of self-discovery that uncovers growth-oriented meaning of one’s experiences while acknowledging one’s assets, competencies, capabilities, etc.
Homa Therapy can manifest at three levels of intervention.
1. Therapy provided by a practitioner of Agnihotra and the Fivefold Path.
2. Therapy provided by a practitioner of Agnihotra/Fivefold Path in an environment infused with Homas. (As a private practitioner, it is not unusual for a client to visit my home office for the first time and express their awe of the “peacefulness” they experience upon entering the residence.)
3. Therapy provided by a practitioner of Agnihotra/Fivefold Path in an atmosphere infused with Homas, where the client directly experiences the Homa fire. While benefits are derived at all three levels of intervention, having the client directly participate in the Homas regularly is optimal.
As one client, with a long history of childhood trauma, substance abuse, and incarceration shared recently after experiencing Homa Therapy (via the therapist’s regular practice of Agnihotra/Fivefold Path): “This has been great. I really feel like I’ve been freed from my past. You have given me the tools and a process to get over my stuff! Your approach was natural, coming from the inner man, letting the process work for me.”
Homa Therapy shapes the energy that the practitioner brings to the interaction, facilitating a more authentic interaction.
Homa practice calms the nervous system which is generally what is being futilely pursued through substance addictions. Homa helps the client to settle internally so emotional management and regulation become more possible. In a time when anxiety and depression are running rampant all over the planet and being acted out in so many destructive and harmful ways, Homa Therapy offers participants the opportunity to go deeper into their own minds and access deeper brain wave frequencies (Alpha & Theta) which facilitate rest, rejuvenation and connection. Once off the surface of experience that is dominated by sensory overload, one can shift perspective to a less temporal view of life and experience That which is more enduring, limitless, and empowering. Homa Therapy facilitates the healing process by introducing the participant to a deeper, more enduring version of oneself.
Client: “I finally feel free and redeemed! I love me some ME now!”
In today’s overstimulated world many of us live on the surface of our minds. Stillness is required to access the depth of our minds where the healthiest parts of oneself reside. Homa provides the opportunity to experience deeper understanding, and connection with self and others. This is the experience for both the Homa Therapist and the client participant, as it is a parallel process. Ultimately, we are all energy. Homa Therapy helps us to access our purest energy states and thereby manifest our highest potential.
For years we have started group therapy sessions for men with a Homa so participants would feel more relaxed and access deeper levels of emotional awareness and regulation. During the COVID epidemic, our monthly men’s groups were held virtually. While we always started the session with a Homa fire when in person. I had not planned on doing one virtually, but the men asked for it. They say it helps them feel calmer and more open to experiencing and sharing their emotions and connecting with others, even virtually. Homa helps create a safe environment for approaching uncomfortable issues.

Henry Gregory, PhD. is a clinical psychologist with over 45 years of experience as a trainer, consultant, therapist and author in a number of mental health related areas including Substance Abuse Treatment. He served as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing, the Clinical Director for several agencies in Baltimore and Washington, DC and he maintains a private practice. He is also the president of the Baltimore Homa Community, LLC.
Agnihotra and the Bible
Ed.
Agnihotra may be practiced by anyone, regardless of their religious or spiritual beliefs. However, some people have asked whether practicing Agnihotra is in keeping with the teachings of the Bible.
Many people who do Agnihotra believe that this verse refers to Agnihotra:
“This vision about the evening and morning sacrifices which has been
explained to you will come true. But keep it secret now, because it will be a long time
before it does come true.”–Daniel 8:26 The Good News Bible The Bible in Today’s English Version, American Bible Society, 1976.
The purpose of this translation was: “The Bible in Today’s English Version is a newer translation which seeks to state clearly and accurately the meaning of the original texts in words and forms that are widely accepted by people who use English as a means of communication.”
(The King James Version doesn’t include the key word “sacrifices” : “The vision of the evenings and the mornings which has been told is true; but seal up the vision for it pertains to many days hence.”–Matthew 7:16-20 King James Version)
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
“A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
“Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”–Matthew 7:16-20 King James Version
The fruits of Agnihotra, as experienced by thousands of people around the world,
are improved health, reduced stress (which can improve family life and decrease domestic violence), better farm and garden crops, greater purity of water resources, and rejuvenation of plant life/healing the environment. Doing Agnihotra can be a form of stewardship of the planet. Agnihotra has also been found to be a helpful tool in drug and alcohol de-addiction.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
Many have attested to Agnihotra’s stress-relieving effects, which give one a renewal of
the mind—that it reduces anger and gives one greater clarity of thought, which help one to make good decisions and be a better person.
The Spiritual and the Material
Barry Rathner
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, Poland
We’ve been told that there is no difference between the spiritual and the material, that it is just how the mind looks at it.
If one perceives so-called reality through the lens of Love, alleged differences between and among people can be filtered out. What is left is a clear, unadulterated vision or version of, “life as we know it.”
Those tempted to accuse those who do this of looking at the world through rose-colored glasses—hinting at impracticality or naivety— best look in the mirror and try very hard to then look within.
Admittedly, this is easier said than done, but in today’s world, WHAT OTHER CHOICE DO WE HAVE?
One advantage or value of seeking and maintaining the positivity and relativity that Love bestows is that one may detect dross before it intrudes on truth. This can be simple, but likewise, rarely easy to do.
In 12-Step, it is suggested we look for the similarities and not the differences between us and others.
Nonetheless, when “push comes to shove,” if we are to be successful in doing Higher Power’s will and not our own, we must approach each and every situation with the specs, the eyeglasses—rose-colored or not— of Love. To do otherwise is to complicate, and obfuscate, such that the goal is so compromised as to be nearly forgotten.
And that seems to be where significant parts of humanity find themselves today. God’s will has been supplanted by gods of money, power, jealousy, anger, and, yes, lust.
If it feels like we are engulfed by a morass of illusions, stuck in the quicksand of ignorance—self-imposed or not—these are not delusions or unreal feelings. We are indeed surrounded by acts done and decisions made that scream of inequality, unfairness and downright evil.
And even the Roads of Best Intentions which we know lead to Hell, are lending too much benefit of the doubt to their perpetrators. They are the epitome of pacts made with the Devil! And we are not wishing to be Devil’s advocate.
“Love thy neighbor as thyself,’ seems to be suffering from an Achilles Heel injury these days. If self-love (and self-esteem and self-image…) is found to be lacking, it follows that my love for my neighbor will suffer—or, at the very least, be significantly compromised, if not irretrievably impaired.
So, we are back to “The Only Way Out is In.” Inexorable, isn’t it? Sooner or later we must do this. We can do it the hard way or the harder way.
Looking within carries with it the added advantage of curbing our tendency to look outside of ourselves. And that is a true blessing in these times as many wonder where have all the flowers of human decency and conscientious behavior gone?
Despite the challenges implicit here, Agnihotra and Homa Therapy make what seems impossible, possible, and what seems horrendously difficult, manageable.
This is not surprising as twice in Agnihotra Mantras comes the phrase, IDAM NA MAMA—not my will but Thy will be done.
Turning over our lives to Higher Power reduces or eliminates worry, stress, anxiety and fear. With these out of the picture, we can go about our lives reacting with love under all circumstances, which is the essence of Homa Psychotherapy and its Mind Training Program.
Homa Therapy Experiences
Dr. Susy Pineal Villota Ponce
Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America

I am an obstetrician-gynecologist. I am 56 years old, and I have many years of experience in my practice.
Last year, starting in May, my hair began to fall out, and then I started vomiting everything I ate. In November, I told my patient and friend Jenny about my health problems.
I was no longer working or employed. I fell out of bed and couldn’t walk. I was vomiting a lot despite receiving care at hospitals and clinics. I lost weight. I weighed 78 kilos (178 pounds) and ended up weighing 38 kilos (84 pounds.) I kept vomiting. I felt more dead than alive. I didn’t eat solids, only liquids. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t leave the house. I was either lying in bed or on the couch.
When Jenny called me, I explained my situation to her that I was in very bad shape. I wasn’t going to the doctor’s office. I was locked up in my house. When Jenny came to visit me, she didn’t even recognize me. When she saw me, she started crying because she didn’t recognize me, even though she has known me for many years and I know her mother and sisters.
Thanks to God and to Jenny with her healing Agnihotra fire, I am recovering. Jenny came to visit and to practice Agnihotra from Homa Therapy. I took the ash from this fire, of which she had left me a lot. I took it 2 to 3 times a day and began to sleep well, because I wasn’t sleeping before, but with this ash I was able to sleep. My weight also began to increase and I am recovering. I can now walk perfectly. I was able to schedule my patients again, since I had lost them completely due to not being able to attend them in my health condition.
Since June of this year, I have had no illnesses whatsoever. Everything is fine. As a doctor, I made my own diagnosis. At first, I thought it was stress, because I was robbed, I was even threatened (I was extorted), and I blamed that as the main reason for my problems. My hair started to fall. My hair was wavy, long, and black, until all my hair fell out. Now, it is growing back again with the effect of Homa Therapy.
I went to a psychologist and she sent me to a psychiatrist. I was in treatment with the psychiatrist for several months until recently when they told me that I am fine now.
When I was at home sick, I was about to throw myself off the balcony because I couldn’t sleep. In my diagnosis, I thought I had cancer, thyroid problems, lupus, etc., but in the many tests I had done, nothing wrong was found.
Jenny Arana adds:
When I went to perform Homa Therapy in the doctor’s house on that Sunday, I didn’t recognize her. She was a different person. Since I didn’t recognize her, I started crying and I did one Agnihotra fire for her and gave her quite a bit of Agnihotra ash. I explained that it is a healing therapy with which many spectacular things have happened to me.
The atmosphere in the house was heavy. The smoke lingered like a cloud, like fog on the floor and in the air, spreading to every corner of the house. The doctor couldn’t talk much.
However, two days after this Agnihotra, she sent me an audio message saying that for the first time in over a year, she had two clients in the morning. Then two more clients arrived in the afternoon, so, in total, she saw four patients that day. She already had the strength to attend them in her office. How incredible!
Last week I also had an appointment with her. I wouldn’t trade her for anyone else. She has been my gynecologist since I was a minor until now. I am happy and glad to have my gynecologist alive and back again, happily serving many women.
From Shree Vasant’s Teachings
Agnihotra and Birds
Quality of voice of birds changes in Agnihotra atmosphere. Those that are not in this atmosphere tend to lose their voice due to pollution factors. Those that are in Agnihotra atmosphere improve the quality of their voice. The song of birds becomes bright and clear.
This happens to such an extent that birds that are not song birds begin to sound as though they are. Birds are grateful to us for giving Agnihotra healing to them.
On Perspective
You have to take a lighter look at yourself so that you are not always in the state of unhappiness. Be light. Be full of laughter. Let there be calm surrounding you. Let there be peace within you.
On Control
Do not try to control. IT IS IN TRYING TO CONTROL THAT WE BREED ATTACHMENT AND CREATE KARMA. You are to be free. Only way you can be free is to let go. No worry. No fear. We will catch you….All you will do is rise. Then it is all peace and bliss, love and joy, knowledge and wisdom. All this will merely come by doing service and chanting your Mantra. When you chant the Mantra, Divine Power manifests.
On Life
Life can be viewed like the growth of a tree. If one stays focused like a pure tree they will grow fast and high, all energies pointed upward. But if one gets entangled in different directions, different desires, then the branches can go any way. If you prune the tree just like if we discipline ourselves, the growth is more directed. ONE NEEDS TO KEEP ONE’S LIFE VERY SIMPLE. THIS IS DONE THROUGH DAAN AND TAPA. THE ROOT OF THE TREE DETERMINES THE DESTINY AND THE HEART OF THE TREE IS THE SELF.
On Grace
Throw out the desires and in comes Grace.
Healing Co-Ops
People can band together in small groups and form healing co-ops, healing centers where people can receive the benefits of Agnihotra, meditation, natural herbal healing techniques and above all, LOVE.
Let us heal ourselves and the poisoned atmosphere.
On Attunement to Higher Will
There is so much suffering in the world. Let us forget our own desires, discomfort, fears. Let us serve others. Then we realize every moment is an opportunity to serve. Then automatically the mind begins to go into that state where there is LOVE all the time. Then even without thinking we do what is best for those near us. We become attuned to the Higher Will and we become able to be truly of service. Every moment is full with Grace. That consciousness one can achieve only with a little TAPA (body and mind discipline.)
Fivefold Path for Happy Living
1. Yajnya
HOMA Therapy is the science of purification of the atmosphere through the agency of FIRE. AGNIHOTRA HOMA (YAJNYA) is the basic HOMA. It is tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise/sunset and gives nutrients to the plant kingdom, removes diseases in a certain area and removes tension on the mind. This is the basic process in the Vedic sciences of medicine, agriculture, climate engineering and interplanetary communication.
2. Daan
Sharing of your assets in a spirit of humility. This corrects imbalance in financial matters and creates non-attachment to worldly possessions.
3. Tapa
Self-discipline of body and mind. This is conducive to a change in attitudes of mind and body. It results in a harmonious state of mind.
4. Karma
“You reap as you sow.” Always practicing good Karma (actions) diminishes the burden of negative Karma and one begins to invest in his own future. This means that what you do today will bring its fruits. Sowing seeds of love and kindness will bless my garden with plenty of love. Do Karma for self-purification.
5. Swadhyaya
Practice Swadhyaya (Self-study) for liberation. Who am I? Why am I here? My work on this planet is to learn to react with total LOVE with each opportunity given to me.
This is the Fivefold Path for happy living on the planet. By practicing the Fivefold Path you become better members of your society, group, religion, community, etc.
